It is a wonderful feeling spending time by yourself and enjoying a sense of peace and silence, listening to the sounds of nature.

Go for a walk, head out for a run without any tech devices (even if you don’t share it online, the run still happened!), curl up with a good book or watch a favourite film with a cup of tea. We all need to switch off from time to time.

When we take the time to unplug from the busyness of life we can truly reflect on where we are at in life.

Change your perspective in life

One of the best ways to start thinking differently is to change your perspective and look at things from a different point of view. Changing your perspective so that you can see the most growth in your mind and allow space for new things and start to allow new habits in.

Take back your power

When we continue to make excuses and blame others, we are actually giving our power away.

If you let your life fall apart because of something someone else did, YOU are choosing to do that.

Love yourself

People-pleasing is a losing battle. When you focus on self-love and self-compassion rather than trying to get others to love you, you build your self-esteem and break codependent patterns so you can form healthier, happier relationships—with yourself and others.

These may seem impossible at the time but by spending time alone gives you the time to think, where are you going? what am i doing? these questions will go round in your head on a daily basis but by detaching yourself and enjoying peace and silence you should be able to answer the questions for yourself.
